It was held in 29th May the first national ReferNet meeting in which partners from CAP, CCP, CECOA, CEFOSAP, CGTP-IN, IEFP, Turismo de Portugal and UGT participated. The purpose of the meeting was to inform the partners about the work carried out so far by the network, the forthcoming activities included in the work plan and the need to invest in visibility actions.
The meeting began with the presentation of the results from Focus Group in Madrid and the Partnership Forum in Budapest, as well as the achieved work in which the partners had the opportunity to submit their contributions and participate in the validation process.
To maximise the communication channels and improve the exchange of information, the meeting continued with a briefing sessions about the news items. It allowed to identify the requirements for publication, the multiple dissemination platforms and the submission deadlines. Partners were also informed of the possibility of ordering different materials for distributions and requesting the presence of Cedefop experts on their events and activities.
With the increasing need to improve visibility, ReferNet presented the actions in which it participated during the first semester: its presence in Futurália, the presentation of the network and Cedefop in the Sectoral Commission for Education and Training (CS/11) and the dissemination of its publications in the newsletter of the Office of Strategy and Planning.
In a more dynamic debate, partners discussed the possibility of organising an event to raise awareness about the network. The partners emphasised the importance of defining some key points such as the target audience and the format, suggesting it to be more active and focused on thematic workshops with an open and interactive model.
The session ended with a presentation of the new proposal for the ReferNet website. The new structure, besides facilitating the access and dissemination of contents, will promote a dynamization of the network, aiming to establish itself as a source of dissemination for the activities of partners.
