Cedefop’s opinion survey on vocational education and training (VET) examines EU citizens’ awareness and opinions on VET’s attractiveness and effectiveness. It also looks at their personal experience as learners at upper secondary level and the stage following compulsory education. A representative sample of Europeans (aged 15+) from all Member States responded to the questionnaire in June 2016. With a total of 35 646 respondents across the EU from different economic and social groups, the individuals were interviewed in their mother tongue through a face-to-face methodology.
