What will change in the economy, in organisations and society against the digital transformation of the economy and the value chains of organisations? How to deal with the imperative of cybersecurity? What are the demands and implications on the talents management, qualification and employment? Are education and training systems able to respond to digital requests? Will artificial intelligence create or ‘steal’ jobs?
These are some of the issues that will be discussed in the third edition of Fórum Futurália, titled “Qualifications and employment: what to do ‘in’ the digital?” which will take place on March 4 at 2 pm at the PT Meeting Centre of Lisbon International Fair (FIL).
The forum will happen during one of the most significant national education and training competitions (Futurália), and it aims at confronting the challenges and opportunities of the general digitalisation of the economy. The challenges mentioned above arose from Industry 4.0., with requirements and needs of talent management, qualifications and competences, employment and employability, new ways of work, new teaching and learning methods and new business organisation procedures.
The initiative is fostered by Futurália Strategic Council, which includes the National Agency for Qualification and Vocational Education and Training, and integrates three workshops: “Digital transformation: data, knowledge and economy”, “Qualification and innovation” and “Employment and artificial intelligence”.
Mariana Viera da Silva, Minister of the Presidency and Administrative Modernisation, will be present in the opening session.
