The Northern Regional Delegation of IEFP organised, in collaboration with the University of Porto, the parish council of Galicia and the University of Santiago de Compostela, the “20th International Congress of Training for Work – Northern Portugal of Galicia”, on the theme : “Decent work, sustainable employment and human development: challenges of / for training”, which took place on June 28-29 in Oporto.
This International Congress has been held since 1999, focusing on themes that are sources of concern, discussion, reflection, criticism and dissemination of practices and intervention models of the multiple frameworks of training for work”.
General themes of the congress:
- Decent work and the dignity of working;
- Form for quality of life and sustainable development;
- Contexts of work – spaces for the affirmation of citizenship;
- Climate change and the “climates of training”;
- New illiteracy;
- Volunteering (s): what learning;
- Industry 4.0 – New ways of training for work?;
